Strength Training

Strength Training is a course in Basic Barbell Training. You will learn, train, and measure your strength on the five basic lifts:

  • Back Squat
  • Deadlift
  • Bench Press
  • Press
  • Power Clean

Strength Training classes are offered on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday to give athletes the opportunity to undertake novice barbell training on a 3 day per week schedule of lifting.  We follow the Starting Strength linear progression.
